Several movies are hitting the theaters this weekend with something for everyone to enjoy this cool fall weekend.

This movie about the first man to walk on the moon Neil Armstrong. Ryan Gosling plays the iconic astronaut which tells the story about Neil's life leading up to the historic Apollo 11 mission. Claire Foy plays his wife while Lukas Haas plays Collins, the astronaut who stayed in orbit and never set foot on the moon. Corey Stoll plays Buzz Aldrin, the second man on the moon.

Just in time for some Halloween fun, Jack Black returns as "Goosebumps" author R.L. Stine. The story begins when two curious kids find an old manuscript belonging to R.L. Stine in a creepy old house, by accident they release the evil ventriloquist doll Slappy from its pages. The kids seek out Stine to help them stop Slappy before he totally destroys the town with the release of more monsters. Sounds like a fun family movie!

Just hope this movie lives up to all the hype it has been given over the past few weeks. It's a suspense thriller about several strangers who turn up at a shady hotel near the California/Nevada border in Lake Tahoe in the 1960s. Jeff Bridges is priest on the run from the law, Chris Hemsworth is a cult leader and the rest of the cast includes, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Nick Offerman and Lewis Pullman.

I remember watching the lunar landing on the moon when I was very young, it was pretty amazing. So my choice this week is First Man. Grab the popcorn and I'll see you at the movies!
