Great fall weekend to take in a movie, there are a couple of new flicks to pick from this weekend. If your into political scandals or into boxing hi-tech with robots, move over Rocky.

THE IDES OF MARCH is a thriller starring George Clooney, Paul Giamatti, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Evan Rachel Wood and Ryan Gosling. Scandal strikes during a presidential run in the last days before a heavily contested Ohio presidential primary. The campaign press secretary played by Ryan Gosling is in the middle of the political scandal which threatens to cause major problems and over-shadow his candidate’s run at the presidency. Rated R, 1 hour and 42 minutes

REAL STEEL is an action drama starring Hugh Jackman, Anthony Mackie and Evangeline Lilly. Boxing has gone hi-tech in this movie. A washed up fighter makes a comeback with an off the wall type robot. Hugh Jackman’s character teams up with his estranged son to build and train a championship contender to get one last shot at a comeback. Rated PG-13, 2 hours and 12 minutes.

I have to admit I like a good boxing movie, although they should have called this the Rock Em' Sock Em' Robots movie, that's what they remind of. I guess you say this movie is a cross between Rocky and a Transformer type robot like Optimus Prime.

I'm all about comeback movies, so put me down for REAL STEEL see the movie trailer:
