Meet Country Newcomer: Garrette Steele.

Midland, Texas native Garrette Steele is one of the artists featured on Teddy Gentry's "Best New Nashville" CD which you can find at your local Cracker Barrel store. The CD features 12 new up and coming country artists hand picked by Gentry.

Garrette stopped by the studio this morning and we played his new song "The Suitcase" which appears to be his debut single when his new album comes out later this year.

It's nice to see up and coming artists out pounding the pavement and visiting local radio stations to promote themselves. Many artists go unnoticed because they're waiting for that big opportunity to fall in their laps, but not Garrette. Hopefully we'll be able to get him booked somewhere in Texarkana real soon so he can put on a show for us! We definitely wish him all the best!
