Michael Wacha to Pitch for St. Louis Today in Baseball Playoffs

Former Pleasant Grove star Michael Wacha will be on the mound pitching today for the St. Louis Cardinals as they take on the Pittsburgh Pirates in the National League Baseball Playoffs.Wacha, who has been spectacular for the Cardinals in his rookies season, will try and keep the Redbirds alive in the playoffs. St. Louis trails the best of five series, two games to one and need a victory today to force a fifth and deciding game at home on Wednesday.

Wacha came within one out of pitching a no-hitter back in September will need his best pitching stuff today against the upstart Pirates. Good luck to him and the Cardinals today in Pittsburgh.
