Mickey Gilley & Johnny Lee Kick Off The Hope Watermelon Festival This Weekend!

Lisa and I talked with Anna Powell in Hope, Arkansas this morning by phone about this weekend's Hope Watermelon Festival and how it starts off with an "Urban Cowboy" reunion show featuring Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee, plus show opener Buddy Jewell!

The 42 Annual Hope Watermelon Festival returns to Hope, Arkansas August 9 - 11, 2018, and along with some of the best watermelon you've ever tasted, this year's Friday night concert will feature an Urban Cowboy reunion with Mickey Gilley and Johnny Lee.

The festival will feature tons of activities and entertainment, including:

• Watermelon 5K Fun Run
