Wyoming search crews have confirmed that the plane that went missing after leaving Marshall Texas en route to Casper Wyoming has crashed and that there were no survivors.

The plane was discovered on the south face of Laramie Peak south of Casper. In a video piece posted at KLTV.com Albany County Wyoming Under-sheriff Rob DeBree said,

It's in a very rugged and extremely steep, rocky area and the majority of the craft's remains are sitting on a shelf area.  We are bringing in a helicopter from Sublette County... and they are specially trained to actually lower down to these type of situations and being able to recover people out."

CW Ford Rentals in Marshall confirmed that company owner Chuck Ford was on the plane, which he owned.  Accompanying Ford on the plane were Billy Gee, the owner of Bayou Aviation, and operator of a flight school, Maverick Cayces, a pilot and employee of the flight school, and James Morgan.

The FAA promises a thorough investigation.
