The fall season is here and what better way to enjoy the season with a new festival in Texarkana Friday, September 30th and Saturday, October 1st with the 'MoRH Better BBQ, Bands & Bike Festival' in Dowtown Texarkana.For 30 years, the Texarkana Museums System has brought fun, food and music to Downtown Texarkana.

There will be lots of activities, demonstrations plenty of food, live music and arts & crafts.

Friday night kicks off with a street concert by SHOOTER JENNINGS, the son of the legendary Waylon Jennings. Local act, Greg Gardner and VooDoo Cowboy open up the show. Cost admission to the concert is $10 with the show set for 6pm!

On Saturday the festival opens at 10am-5pm and is free to get in for day events, Saturday evening it concludes with a Battle Of The Bands competition at 6pm and the Robert St. John Band hitting the stage around 7:30pm. Cost is $10 to see the band competition and concert benefitting the Texarkana Museums Systems.

In addition there will be a BBQ Cookoff, and a Best Bike competition, all bikes must be set up by 6:30pm Friday evening for judging on Saturday.

All events will be located on East Front Street between Hazel and Olive Streets.
