What's in a name? Guess it depends if you are a boy or girl. Wrong! Some names could be fit for both sexes. Makes me think of the Johnny Cash song "A Boy Named Sue."

While more and more celebrities keep coming up with unusual name for their kids, a new study by Flowing Data has looked at the most popular unisex names  in the United States overtime and reveals the names that could be used for a boy or girl.

FlowingData has found the most common unisex names given between 1930 and 2012 compiled from data received from the Social Security Administration.

And Jessie comes in first, nudging out Jackie and Marion, which round out the top three.
