Moto-Cross Rider Injured at 2013 Demolition Derby in Stable Condition [VIDEO]

19-year-old Dillon Shealy of Athens, GA. was participating in a free-style stunt exhibition Saturday September 14 at the Demolition Derby when he overshot the landing ramp and was severely injured.

Dillon was taken by ambulance to Christus Saint Michael’s Hospital with a broken back, and other injuries as a result of his accident. Shealy underwent surgery Sunday morning and is currently listed in “Stable” condition. A spokesperson at the Hospital confirms that his father is with him, and that Dillon is recovering from his operation.

We wish him a full and speedy recovery, and we will be thinking of him and his family.
