Movies in the Park Kicks Off Fall Lineup of Events at Spring Lake Park [VIDEO]

My favorite time of the year is here - FALL. Cooler weather, festivals, fairs, and Movies in the Park. There's nothing quiet like grabbing a blanket folding chair and heading to watch a movie outdoors at Spring Lake Park.Texarkana, Texas Parks and Recreation Department is proud to present their fall schedule for Movies in the Park. All movies start at 7:30 p.m every Thursday and admission is FREE.

Here's a list of dates and movies for October.

10/4 Hunger Games

10/11 Cowboys and Aliens

10/18 Scooby Doo-Curse of the Lake Monster

10/25 Cult classic- The Town That Dreaded Sundown (look for me in dance scene)

Other events at the park this fall include The second annual Fall Festival Oct. 18 at 5:30 p.m.

Fall Community Garage Sale Oct. 27 from 8 a.m til 3 p.m.
