Murder Suspect Arrested in Texarkana

Texarkana Arkansas Police say a man wanted in connection with a recent homicide has been taken into custody. Texarkana Arkansas Police Detectives have arrested Devin White, B/M 21yoa, for Capital Murder today after locating White traveling in a vehicle on Summerhill Road.

White’s arrest is the result of a murder investigation which began on February 25^th, 2014, when DeMarquis Reeves was shot and killed in a residence on Locust Street in Texarkana, Arkansas.  Within hours of the murder, Detectives arrested Anthony King and Joel Hill both for Capital Murder.  White has been hospitalized since February 25^th for injuries sustained during the murder incident. White left the hospital last night against medical advice.  Detectives located White while travelling in a vehicle on Summerhill road this afternoon and arrested him without incident.
