Tonight is National Night Out all across America and both sides of the twin cities will be taking part in this community-wide event.

This will mark the 34th Annual National Night Out where communities and neighborhoods will be turning on their porch lights to bring awareness to crime prevention in our neighborhoods. The program is designed to generate support for, and participation in local anti-crime programs, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, and send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. National Night in begins at 6PM and runs until 9PM in most neighborhoods.

Officers and city personnel will be available for questions and you can share your concerns about police services in your neighborhood.
