One Texarkana Restaurant is Now the Only Location Left in Ark-La-Tex

This restaurant was able to avoid a long list of closures.

If you're a fan of Ruby Tuesday, you better hold our location near and dear to your heart. It's been just about two weeks, since the company announced that it would be closing 95 locations cross the country. The reason is simply due to poor performance.

The Texarkana location has performed well enough to remain open.

Other locations were not so lucky, including the one in Bossier City, Louisiana which closed its doors last week. The closing of this location means that our local Ruby Tuesday at 4330 St. Michael Drive is now the only location left in all of the Ark-La-Tex.

Before the closings, Ruby Tuesday had 724 locations nationwide. More restaurants are expected to close by September's end. With the closings come an initiative to streamline the remaining restaurants and increase the value of the company for its shareholders.

We may see some new faces at our Texarkana location as employees or closed locations have been offered jobs at the remaining Ruby Tuesdays.
