Trick Pony Getting Back Together Again

One of my favorite bands ' Trick Pony' is getting back together after six years off the country music charts. The trio which consists of lead singer Heidi Newfield, base guitarist Ira Dean, and guitarist Keith Burns.

The new album is expected to be nothing like their past material. There musical resurgence is not going to be a repeat of the past. When the band disbanded six years ago Heidi turned to a solo career while Burns and Dean played in different bands and continued to write songs for other artists.

They did get together for one-off show last fall, but recently made it official to all their fans. According to their new updated website Keith Burns says,“I think the new music’s going to be better than anything we’ve done in the past.”

I'm really excited to see this trio get back together again, they've always had a great sound. I wish them well.
