This year, they’re hitting the internet and announcing the 2012 ACM Awards nominees on Facebook and Twitter, with the bulk of the nominations being unveiled during a digital press conference on Thursday, Jan. 26 at 6:30 AM PT.
January 18, 2012 Our condolences to Blake Shelton. His father passed away last night. According to Blake's official website, Dick Shelton died surrounded by family in his home state of Oklahoma, after a long bout of illness, including a recent hospitalization for pneumonia.

After a praiseworthy performance during the 2011 awards show — and Shelton’s skyrocketing public profile — inviting the two to run the show again was likely a no-brainer for producers.
