Main Street El Dorado and Murphy USA are proud to present the final concert of the 2013 Showtime Concert Series on Saturday Night, Nov. 23 with hot new artist Parmalee. Just off the success of their debut country hit “Musta’ Had a Good Time,” Parmalee’s new top ten single “Carolina” raced to #7 on the country charts and is climbing fast.

Parmalee is a country rock band hailing from Greenville, N.C. on the label for Stoney Creek Records, home to ACM Vocal Duo of the Year Thompson Square and chart-topper Randy Houser. All of Parmalee’s hard work, dedication and perseverance is paying off in a big way. Country fans voted the band’s debut single, “Musta’ Had a Good Time” number one for four consecutive weeks on SiriusXM’s “The Highway,” and the song hit Top 40 on country radio. The raucous party anthem has been featured in national sporting event broadcasts from the PGA to MLB.

Now with a bona fide Top Ten Hit with “Carolina”, Parmalee has been highlighted in USA Today, AOL’s The Boot, Country Aircheck and has been named a “Bubbling Under Artist” by Billboard magazine. The signs are clear that after a long, tumultuous journey to Nashville, Parmalee is home at last.

The Showtime Concert Series will begin at 6 p.m with pre-event music on the Showtime Stage with Parmalee taking the stage at 8 p.m. The event will take place during the annual El Dorado Downtown Open House Weekend. The day will include horse & carriage rides, the PJ’s Holiday Express, horse-drawn hay rides and more.

The Showtime Concert Series is a free to the public event on selected Saturday Nights throughout the year and includes national music artist performing outside on Union Square (101 N. Washington Street) in the heart of historic, downtown El Dorado.
