'Party in Pink' Kicks Off Texarkana Race For The Cure

The Susan G. Komen Texarkana Race for the Cure is coming up this Saturday, October 18 at the Four States Fairgrounds and Bobby Ferguson Park. And the event fundraiser kicks off Friday night (10/17) with the Party in Pink.The Party in Pink and Silent Auction will take place from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Oasis located on the fairgrounds. While your there enjoy complimentary drinks, a Mexican feast and live music from the SoulTones. Tickets are $50 each and can be purchased online at KomenTexarkana.org. Tickets will be held at the door.

The 2014 Texarkana Race for the Cure starts with late registration packet-pick up at with opening ceremonies at 8:30 a.m. followed by the 5K race/walk at 9 a.m. The event will include awards, survivor activities, family fun stroll and more.
