When it comes to living in the state of Texas and being a part of the Texas music scene, you can't help but think of Pat Green. A native Texan from San Antonio has been writing and singing songs for quiet some time now and he's making an appearance at Scottie's Grill Friday, July 14, 2017.

His distinctive raspy vocals has allowed him to sell well over two million albums nationwide and has been nominated for three Grammy Awards. With hit singles like, "Wave on Wave," "Let Me," and six albums in eight years the grind just got to be too much.  According to his website after having a successful stint as a Nashville recording artist the pressures of being a big label artist started to wear him down.

That led Green to finally make the decision to cut his ties from Nashville and set out to record an independent album Home. An album takes him back to his roots as to where it all started and for the enduring fans who have stuck by his side from the very beginning. The album features 13 tracks with seven songs he co-wrote with some pretty big songwriters including Chris Stapleton. With this new album Home, you can pretty much say Green feels right at home again.

The new single is named "Drinkin' Days." Here's the video.
