Pier 1 Imports Texarkana Store Closing Doors in February

Well, yet another retail store in the Texarkana area is closing its doors. Pier 1 Imports has announced that they will close permanently the store on Mall Drive in February.

A company representative said the Texarkana location's final day will be February 25.

Pier One announced in April of 2017 that they would be closing up to 25 stores in 2018.

According to al.com:

The Fort Worth, Texas-based store reported net sales decreasing 3.4 percent for the full year, as well as  the average number of stores declining 3 percent.
