Pleasant Grove & Queen City Both in Regional Semi-Finals Of Baseball

Both Pleasant Grove and Queen City begin best of three regional semi-final series in baseball this evening.Pleasant Grove which owns  a 29-5 record hopes to get that to 31 wins in the next couple of days. That would mean the Hawks would advance to the regional finals for the 5th straight year. Standing in their way is the Prosper Eagles who have already won 30 games this season.

The best of three regional semi gets underway this evening with the first pitch at 7 p.m. at Paris North Lamar. Game Two will be Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. and game three if necessary would immediately follow in Paris.

Meanwhile the Queen City Bulldogs begin their best of three regional semi-final against Elkhart this evening in Kilgore with game time set for 7 p.m. The Bulldogs 23-8, while Elkhart comes in at 32-3.  Game Two is Saturday in Kilgore at 4pm and a third game if necessary would follow.
