Pleasant Grove Takes Trip To State Finals In Austin

The Pleasant Grove Boys Baseball Team is headed back to Austin for a fifth straight year to compete in the state finals.The Hawks nailed down the trip to the state semi-finals by taking two straight games from Farmersville in the regional finals.

Pleasant Grove is now 33-5 on the season. They will take on Waco Robinson ( 29-2) in the second semi-final game at 4 p.m. Wednesday afternoon at the University of Texas. This is a rematch of last years semi-finals.

If the Hawks win on Wednesday they will play for the Class 3A State Championship on Thursday in Austin.
