At approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday, April 15, Texarkana, Texas Police arrested Kendall Ray Gray, 27, a Texas-side resident, in connection with a counterfeit investigation.

Detectives were conducting surveillance on Gray after receiving information that he was involved in the counterfeiting of United States Currency. Police stopped Gray’s vehicle in the 500 block of Oak Street for a traffic violation and subsequently arrested him for not having a driver’s license.
During a search of Gray’s vehicle, the detectives discovered $250 of alleged counterfeit currency and a semi-automatic handgun. Authorities also say they recovered marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription drugs from the vehicle..
Gray was charged with No Driver’s License, Forgery of Money, Possession of Marijuana and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance. He is being held at the Bi-State Criminal Justice Center Jail awaiting bond.
