Police Looking for Woman Who Walked Away From Treatment Center
Texarkana, Texas Police are searching for a woman who walked away from a local treatment center on Monday, July 27.Authorities say just before before noon yesterday, 56-year-old Cecelia Danette Williams walked away from the Bowie County Women’s Treatment Center. Her purple scrubs and ID card were found in the area a short time later.
Williams is described as 5-8 and 230 pounds. She has tattoos on her chest, right hand, right forearm and her right upper arm. A felony warrant for Unauthorized Absence from a Community Corrections Facility has been issued for her arrest. If you see her or know where she is please call 9-1-1.
The mission of the treatment center program is to provide the District Courts with a sentencing alternative for female substance abuse offenders by providing a residential treatment program within a community setting.
The Bowie County Treatment Facility website says it integrates numerous and proven "Best Practices" to develop a fine-tuned therapeutic program that is effective for the female offender population. The use of cognitive restructuring, social skills and problem-solving skills with integration of recovery skills has proven effective in increasing accountability and behavior modification.
