With the 2015 Bridal Fair coming up this weekend in Texarkana. Many couples have already been proposed to and are now making their wedding plans.  I just happened to run across a video of a unique way that a police officer proposed to his girlfriend in Galveston, Texas recently.

The woman's name is Sara Wolff and recently she was pulled over for having a broken taillight. The cop who pulled her over went through his normal routine, running a check on her license. He then told her she had outstanding warrants for her arrest. This naturally upset the woman because she had no idea what he was talking about and she began to cry.

Sara's boyfriend, Gregory Parris, who is a police officer with the Galveston Police Department, was watching her reaction from a nearby squad car. He finally decided that was enough so he pulled up behind her got out and dropped to one knee to propose to her.

By the way, she said YES. It's a wonder she didn't punch him first for setting up the whole thing. Gregory joked by saying that if she said no he would have booked her. The wedding date has been set for July 6. Congratulations!

What was your proposal like? Anything out of the ordinary?

Be sure and come to the 2015 Bridal Fair this Saturday, January, 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Texarkana, Texas Convention Center. Get your tickets in advance online for just $14 or the day of the event for $20.
