Possible Ice Storm Forces Postponement of the Live United Texarkana Bowl

The Live United Bowl has been rescheduled for next Friday..

The game will be played at 6 p.m. Friday December 13 at Arkansas Razorback Sttadium.

The Live United Texarkana Bowl Committee has released the following statement:

Because of imminent bad weather conditions being reported for our area, the Live United Bowl is being postponed.  Both Universities and the Live United Bowl committee are working diligently to reschedule the game and as soon as a workable time is found for both teams, a press release will be sent.   “Our concern is with the safety of the teams and the fans traveling and the decision to postpone this event was extremely difficult, but one that we think is absolutely the right thing to do,” says Allen Brown, Chairman of the Texarkana Live United Bowl.  “There has been much work and preparation for this historical event but above all, we want to offer a safe atmosphere for all involved.”
