The DeKalb Volunteer Fire Department has scheduled a predator hunt in February.The hunt will focus on killing bobcat, coyote, and fox. The entry fee is $80 a team with 70% payback, also a big cat pot $20 a team with 100% payback. You must be in the Predator Hunt to be eligible for the Big Bobcat Pot.

There will also be a big raccoon pot: $15 a team with a 75% payback. The prize is based on the weight of the biggest raccoon, and may be done as separate hunt. A surprize pot $15 with a 100% payback will be given out after check in.

Register by 5 p.m. on Friday February 8 with Paula Booth at the DeKalb City Hall. Anyone registered after 5 p.m. will pay a $20 late fee and there will be a rule meeting at 6 pm. that evening at the Fire Station.

The Predator Hunt itself will begin at daylight Saturday February 9th and end at noon on Sunday February 10th. Check in will be at the DeKalb Fire Department no later than 12:00 noon on Sunday the 10th.
