Randy Houser Kicks Off Summer Concert Series at Magic Springs [VIDEO]

Magic Springs & Crystal Springs Water and Theme Park is now open on weekends in beautiful Hot Springs, Ark. This year, the park has a huge lineup of entertainment scheduled at the outdoor Timberwood Amphitheater. The concert series kicks off on May 30 with country star hitmaker Randy Houser at 8 p.m.Houser broke into the country music world with a series of consecutive number one hits including, "How Country Feels,"  "Runnin' Outta Moonlight," "Goodnight Kiss," and his most recent "Like a Cowboy." This singer/songwriter has been honing his skills for years writing numerous hits for other country music artists. It also gave him his first American Music Award for Most Played Radio Track Male in 2013.

Among his early achievements, Houser has been nominated multiple times for ACM and CMA Awards and has been credited for writing songs for Justin Moore, Trace Adkins and Chris Young.

But despite all the early success, Houser admits he wasn't really happy. "It seemed like professionally things weren't great as they could be, and that was part of it," he says. "But the biggest thing was not having a home base." However, that all changed when he signed a record deal with Stoney Creek Records in Nashville, Tenn.

Personally, I happen to be a huge Randy Houser fan, I just love the way this guy can belt out a song whether it be an uptempo song like "Boots On" or a slow one such as "Like a Cowboy" -- a song about a guy who comes home to spend some time with his lady but has to leave again in a few days. In a day and age when it's hard to distinguish one singer from another, Randy Houser stands alone.
