Randy Houser has made it to the top and it has taught him something.

We are just days away from the release of Randy Houser's new album, Fired Up. Ahead of its Friday release, Randy has found himself at the top of the country music chart with his song "We Went." It's a huge accomplishment for any artist.

It's also a lesson giver.

Randy said he has learned something from being the top of the chart, or at the bottom for that matter. According to a recent interview, Randy says he doesn't check the chart numbers as much as he used to. Back in the day he would check every ten minutes, but now he understands there is a process that has to take place.

Let it marinate, in a sense.

He has learned to not be so controlling and to allow those who work the song to do their jobs. It sounds like a system that is guaranteed to work, as long as Randy keeps being Randy when it comes to the studio.
