While Randy Travis is in the hospital recovering from a heart problem and a stroke, his brother, David Traywick, is in the Union County (North Carolina) jail on charges of conspiracy to traffic methamphetamine and trafficking methamphetamine.

On Tuesday night (July 16), authorities searched a home in Union Country, N.C. Afterwards, police removed evidence from the home, and arrested Traywick, 50, his wife Jessica, and two other women on meth charges.

According to WSOC Eyewitness News, police found a one-pot meth lab inside the home.

Police don't just know Traywick because of his brother -- Traywick has had some trouble with the law before. Last September, he was arrested on meth charges, but that case hasn't been decided yet.

Traywick is currently behind held in jail under $500,000 bond. In the meantime, police have cleaned up the meth lab.

"There is always some danger involved with these meth labs, from the fumes and that sort of thing," said Capt. Ronnie Whitaker with the Union County Sheriff's Office.

It's unclear whether Travis knows about his brother's arrest yet. As of yesterday, the 'Three Wooden Crosses' hitmaker was in serious but stable condition at a hospital in Texas. He faces a lengthy recovery.
