The Razorback men's basketball team is preparing to tour Italy later this month. They'll play at least three professional teams on their tour.

Coach Anderson spoke with the media prior to Monday's practice and revealed that Marshawn Powell will practice during the 10 practices the team will have prior to leaving for Italy. He did not, however, say is Powell will play during the Italy trip. Powell has been recovering from a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee. Coach A says he's going to ease Powell back in and evaluate as they go.

The team leaves on August 10th and will return on August 19th.

With as many young players as this team has, this Italy trip could really help them develop so they can contribute this season. Depth is not a luxury Arkansas has had in recent years.
