Donovan Roberts, a redshirt freshman running back at the University of Arkansas, has announced he will not be returning to play for the Hogs in the fall.

Roberts made the announcement on his twitter account yesterday tweeting:

Attention followers. I will NOT be attending the University of Arkansas this coming semester.Salute to the real the rest can deal.#new-slate

Roberts, a Norman, OK native, was listed the 32 best running back in the country coming out of high school.

With less than a month left until national signing day, it looks like new Razorback head coach Bret Bielema will be scrambling to try to sign another running back or two to add to this years class. Roberts was expected to compete for playing time in the fall with the departure of Knile Davis, Dennis Johnson and Ronnie Wingo. The Hogs are now down to only three running backs (Jonathan Williams, Nate Holmes and Kody Walker) returning this fall with any playing experience.
