Ready For ‘Taste of Texarkana’ 2012 to Benefit Harvest Texarkana

October is finally here and one of my favorite events is coming to Texarkana this month. The 2012 Taste of Texarkana Oct. 16 from 5 p.m. from 8 p.m. at the Four States Fairgrounds Entertainment Center.This event takes place each fall to benefit local food bank Harvest Texararkana. Over 40 vendors will be showcasing their food from some of Texarkana's best area restaurants. In addition there will be cooking demonstrations from celebrity chefs: Amanda Horton, Jeff Loving, Kevin Yeager, Bryan Ogburn, David James and samples of wine and beer from local distributors during the Taste of Texarkana.

Adult tickets (21 & older) are $20 in advance or $25 day of show. Kids (6-20) $10 advance, $12 at the door. Kids (under 6) $5 advance or $6 at the door.

Tickets can be purchased at Vincent's Fine Wines, all Texar locations, Julie's Deli, Jason's Deli, Flour Child Fine Foods, Dot's Ace Hardware, and Harvest Texarkana.
