Reba McEntire is taking over Taste of Country for a week in anticipation of her new album Love Somebody, and she's offering our readers behind the scenes of her new duet with Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles, "Enough."

McEntire compares the song to her 1993 hit duet with Linda Davis titled "Does He Love You."

"This is the same subject matter, about two women in love with the same man," she says. "I asked Jennifer Nettles to do the song with me, and she said yes, which I'm so thrilled that she did. She's got a beautiful voice with a gorgeous range, and we just had a blast in the studio. It's very unusual that we got to sing at the same time. Sometimes when you do duets, you're recorded at different times or in different cities."

The clip above shows the hard work the pair put into the track with producer James Stroud, rehearsing different ways of singing the lines and running through various takes to find the best way to capture the song. Despite her professionalism, Nettles can't help but let her inner Reba fan show through.

"I am being really cool right now on the outside, but I told her I'm not feeling cool on the inside, because I'm so excited!" she says. "It's awesome, and it's big, and it's fun. I'm excited to be here."

Love Somebody is McEntire's first new studio project under her new deal with Nash Icon, which is a partnership between Big Machine Label Group and Cumulus aimed at returning classic country stars to the marketplace. The album is set to drop on Tuesday (April 14). Buy it here.
