Registration Open at A&M-Texarkana

Priority registration for the spring 2018 semester at Texas A&M University-Texarkana is open through Monday, January 15. According to a press release, students should register according to their classifications as follows:

Graduate/Doctoral Students

Seniors (90+ hours)

VA/Athletes/Honors Students

Juniors (60-89 hours) and Post Baccalaureate

Sophomores (30-59 hours)

Freshmen (O-29 hours)

Current students should visit with their advisers and then register for spring semester classes online through the Web for Students portal.  The spring 2018 class schedule is available at http://www.tamut.edu/Admissions/Enrollment-Services/Registrar/CurrentSchedule.html.

Late registration is Jan. 16-18; however, priority registration is recommended for students to maximize availability of classes.

A&M-Texarkana offers more than 40 bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in education, liberal arts, business, health professions, science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

New undergraduate students can find information on admission and apply online at tamut.edu. Students who wish to pursue a graduate degree also should visit the university website for details on Graduate Studies admission.

Students who plan to attend A&M-Texarkana in the spring semester still have time to apply for financial aid and should complete the 2017-18 Free Application for Federal Student Aid online at fafsa.gov.

To schedule an appointment with a financial aid adviser, call (903) 334-6601 at least 24 hours in advance. A financial aid advisor is also available without an appointment Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM on a walk-in basis after January 1, 2018.
