Reminder: Splash Pad Closed Until Friday

The Rotary Club Splash Pad at Spring Lake Park is closed for a few days for a project to extend the concrete pad around the Splash Pad.The pad should re-open by Friday after they extend the concrete surrounding it to deal with a mud issue. The pad which is open during the day and early evening is free of charge and located at Spring Lake Park in Texarkana, Texas.

The park has been a big hit with area residents since its official opening earlier in May. The Rotary Club of Texarkana is behind the Splash Pad and they say more improvements will be on the way as donations come into the organization.
