Rice, Texas Family Found Dead

The bodies of Israel Alvarez and his wife as well as their three children were “discovered Sunday evening by Alvarez’s father at the family’s home in Rice, Texas, about 45 minutes southeast of Dallas” according to NBC News.

Israel Alvarez was arrested on Sept. 11 for a family violence charge, held two days then released after paying a fine. All five victims had been shot with a semi-automatic rifle. The police are still investigating the incident.
