Robbery Suspect Caught Quickly

Texarkana Texas Police made quick work of  arresting a bank robbery suspect.Authorities say they were called to the 1700 block of New Boston Road on a robbery call at the Wells Fargo Bank. A male suspect allegedly handed the teller a note demanding money and threatening employees. The man obtained currency and left the establishment on a scooter.

Within a few minutes a police detective spotted the suspect on Summerhill Road and apprehended him without incident. 47 year old Joe E. Whisenant is charged with Aggravated Robbery and is being held in the Bi-State Justice Center Jail awaiting bond.
