Robert Earl Keen Talks With The Kicker Wake Up Crew About Saturday Night’s Show

If you're ready for a good time with lots of great Texas country music then it doesn't get much better than this. Robert Earl Keen will be performing at Scottie's Grill Saturday night (June 3).

Scottie's is located at 8400 West 7th Street in Texarkana, Texas. Robert Earl Keen is and has been a staple in Texas country music scene for the past 20 years and counting. He just released his latest album "Live Dinner Reunion".  It's the 20th anniversary of his first live album.

We had they chance to talk with him this morning. He talked about the new album and how it all came together. He also talked to us about the other times he's been in Texarkana to perform. He also reminisced of being a kid and stopping in Texarkana as his family traveled to Arkansas or Mississippi for summer vacations.

It sounds like he and his band will be ready for  a fun time Saturday night at Scottie's as this will be the first show for the band after taking a break for family during the month of May.
