It's been a while since Sam Hunt has stepped foot in a classroom, but the 31-year-old is making his way back to school.

Next Thursday (Feb. 11), Hunt will head to Los Angeles' Club Nokia to take the stage with student Grammy Camp participants for the seventh-annual Grammy in the Schools Live! — A Celebration of Music & Education concert.

The initiative aims to take members of Grammy Camp — an interactive residential summer music experience for high school students — and pair them up with a rising star for one memorable night where they will perform together on stage. Following the collaboration between Hunt and the talented high school students, the "Break Up in a Small Town" singer will give the audience a solo show.

This performance comes just four days prior to the 2016 Grammy Awards, where Hunt will be both a nominee and a performer, singing a duet with Carrie Underwood.

Hunt has received Grammy nods for the all-genre category Best New Artist and Best Country Album for his debut project Montevallo, which topped the Billboard Country Albums Chart in its first week and is the best-selling debut album for a country artist since 2011. These are Hunt's first Grammy nominations.

The 2016 Grammy Awards air on Feb. 15 at 8PM ET on CBS.
