One of my favorite movies in the 70s was Saturday Night Fever starring John Travolta as Tony Manero. I hate to admit this but I used to have a white polyester suit with platform shoes like he wore in the movie. I even tried practicing his famous "Stayin' Alive" walk.

One of the most beloved dance stories of all time, Saturday Night Fever is the coming of age tale of young Tony Manero who learns the value of life in 1970s Brooklyn. The movie came out in 1977, the year I graduated from high school. The movie is packed with legendary hits from the Bee Gees, including "Stayin’ Alive," "Night Fever," "Jive Talkin," "You Should Be Dancing," and "How Deep is Your Love?"  Most of the songs on the soundtrack I played on the radio during that time.

In addition to several new songs written especially for this production that will be held at the beautiful Perot, the British Broadcasting Company (BBC) said, "With hit song after hit song, plus bright lights and dancing, this show will blow you away."

This video from the original movie brings back a lot of memories.
