Scotty McCreery brought a huge dose of country-style holiday cheer to breakfast TV on Tuesday morning (Dec. 11), performing his rendition of the classic 'Let It Snow' on 'Good Morning America.'

Before the one-time 'American Idol' winner delivered a spot-on version of the song, the singer confirmed that he did indeed make his stage debut as the baby Jesus in a church play when he was just a newborn. See, Mom and Pop McCreery knew he was a star even back when he was an infant, and he has been preparing for superstardom his entire life.

McCreery also talked about juggling his class schedule as a college student and joked that if "I can do it, anybody can do it" when it comes to winning a reality show. He said that reality talent show contestants should be unique and be prepared, since it's the ride of a lifetime.

The singer, dressed in his usual uniform of blue jeans and a leather jacket, then performed his McCreery-ed version of 'Let It Snow' amid white poinsettias, fans and his backing band. It was such a twangy version of a classic, that McCreery made it his own for the three minutes he performed.

The sleigh bells and the white set certainly made us feel warm and festive, though it's a brisk December day in NYC.
