Second Suspect Surrenders to Texas Side Police

Texarkana, Texas Police say that the second ssupect in a weekend altercation at Spring Lake Park has turned himself in.Authorities say 25 year old Jerry Coats of Texarkana surrendered to detectives at the Bi-State Justice Center and booked into the jail. No bond has been set.

Police reports indicate that Coats and another man got into an altercation during a party at Spring Lake Park this past Sunday evening. Shots were fired and a minor injury was reported. No other arrests are expected.
