This weekend the temperatures will be cooler than normal and that means it'll be perfect weather for chili! This Saturday, October 28 you can check out some great chili at the 6th Annual Chili Cook-off just up the road at Self Creek Lodge and Marina on Lake Greeson in Kirby, Arkansas.

The fun gets started at noon and with at least 10 teams entered you'll get your fill and enjoy sampling all the chili. Plus, there will also be 50 cent hotdogs and soft drinks.

Awards will go to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and People's Choice. Judging will begin at 2PM. Oh, and I am one of the judges! I do love chili so I'm ready!

All proceeds benefit Ryan's Call Foundation. According to their website, Ryan Swain was only 17 when he drowned in a duck hunting accident in 2013. Ryan's family set up the Ryan's Call Foundation to help other youth dealing with a sports or other outdoor injury and to promote safety education and drowning prevention.
