The festival kicks off on Friday, October 12th with food vendors, a Civil War encampment in the antique village and live music on the front porch of the museum annex. The day will be capped off with a free concert from the Bear Creek Boys starting at 7 pm.

On Saturday, October 13th there will be a dog show, antique car show, antique tractor show,  veterans parade,  contests, talent show and more from 9 am until 7 pm.

One of the highlights of this years  festival will be the unveiling of the "Military Honor Garden" on Friday. This is a garden which is being constructed to honor current/former military personnel. If you would like to have a military member honored, here is the form to fill out and send to the museum.  For a $10.00 donation (to cover costs), the museum will have your military members name, service branch and rank printed on a dog tag which will hang in the garden. The garden is being built thanks to a $4,500 donation from the Home Depot Foundation.
