Shannon Richardson Pleads Guilty in Ricin case

A Northeast Texas Woman has pled guilty to sending ricin laced letters to President Obama, New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg and a pro-gun control group headed by Bloomberg.Shannon Richardson entered into the plea agreement, in which her lawyer says will cap sentencing at a maximum of 18 years. Authorities allege that Richardson tried to frame her now estranged husband in the case before she was arrested back in June.

A formal sentencing hearing will happen early in 2014.
