Virginia College in Shreveport/Bossier will host a Community Health Fair Friday, June 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the campus located at 2950 E. Texas St., Suite C. The event is free and open to the public and will feature refreshments, a variety of health-related checks and activities for all ages, including free Zumba classes offered every hour beginning at 11 a.m. Additionally, the campus will hold a blood drive on site for those interested in and able to give blood. Attendees 18 and older can enter to win a pair of Jabra Elite 65t True Wireless Earbuds in addition to other prizes.

According to the Press Release, the event is part of Virginia College parent company Education Corporation of America’s national Community Health Fair events being held at 59 other Brightwood College, Brightwood Career Institute and Virginia College locations throughout 17 states.

The event will also allow attendees to explore programs offered through Virginia College, including: Business Administration, HVAC-R Technician, Medical Assistant, Medical Billing and Coding, Network and System Administration, Network Support Technician and Pharmacy Technician.
