Have you been watching this season of NBC's The Voice? I've really been impressed with this year's show thus far - especially the fact that there are two singers from right here in our region who made it  through the blind auditions.Maybe you've read Scott's recent blog about a singer from Beebe, Arkansas. Well, just last week another singer from Shreveport, 22-year-old Dez Duron, returned for the blind auditions and this time he made it. Three judges turned their chairs to see him sing the Hall & Oates classic "Sara Smile." He chose Christina to coach and mentor him this season and from the look Christina gave him there may be more than coaching going on.

The girls in the audience were going stir crazy over him as Blake gave him the ultimate compliment by saying he reminded him of a young Elvis. We wish him and the other regional acts the best this season on 'The Voice.'

Check Dez Duron out on his facebook page or follow him on twitter or his website.

Here's his audition from YouTube.
