I thought Texas was synonymous with America?

I'm not sure who put this list together, but I am not a fan. OK, I know who put the list together. It was WalletHub and they found the best and worst cities to celebrate our nation's independence. Unfortunately, Texas landed a lot of cities at the bottom of their list of 100.

How can this be?

I can't think of another state that truly embodies what America is all about. Texans will fight tooth and nail to defend our inalienable rights. They are the only state that is allowed to fly their flag at the same height as the US flag. They can secede at any time that they choose, yet they don't. Because they love America.

According to this study, none of that was take into consideration.

Instead, they measured cost and fun against one another. Those with the best balance between the two emerged victorious.
