Southern Arkansas Head Football Coach Bill Keopple has announced the football recruiting class for this year. 29 have signed letters of intent to play for the Muleriders.The class includes a Texarkana player. Chris Paul who played for Liberty-Eylau will be heading to Magnolia to play for Keopple.

Other players from around the area signing with S.A.U. include: Wide Receiver Tesean Green from Nashville, Linebacker Donald Lollis from Prescott, Running Back Marque Burris from El Dorado.

Also on the list, Running Back Deion Williams from Jefferson, Texas, and three players from nearby Camden, Arkansas. In all, Keopple signed 13 players from Texas, 9 from Arkansas, 3 from Florida, 2 from Louisiana, and 1 each from California and New Jersey.

The Muleriders have been steadily improving since Keopple showed up in Magnolia 5 years ago. 2012 was their best season in quite some time and resulted in a bowl game in Texas.

Good Luck to S.A.U. in the 2013 season this coming fall.
