Speech Competition For Area Toastmasters in Shreveport March 24

If you want to be a better public speaker then Toastmasters just might be for you. Toastmasters is hosting a speech contest Saturday, March 24 at Overton Brooks VA Medical Center located at 510 E Stoner Avenue in Shreveport. 

This is a great way to see what Toastmasters is all about. Members and guests are asked to dress in their best 70's style if they'd like.

There will be eight speakers competing. Four speakers will be competing with inspirational speeches and the other four will be competing in Tables Topics, which are short improvised 1 to 2 minute speeches.

The competition begins at 12:30PM with contestant registration starting at 11AM.  Admission is free. Refreshments and snacks will be provided.

The event will take place on the second floor in the education rooms 2-E-64 at the Overton Brooks VA Medical Center.
